My Journey as an Intern at CGNET

When I first started my internship at CGNET, I had no idea what to expect. I began in the Customer Experience (CX) department, learning the basics of customer interaction and support. Soon, I transitioned to the Marketing team, and that’s when everything truly began. This move pushed me out of my comfort zone and into an environment where I had to learn everything from scratch.

Looking back now, I’m amazed at how much I’ve grown not just professionally but also personally. My managers, Anu KC and Annusha Maharjan, were a huge part of this journey. They weren’t just mentors; they were like anchors who supported me through every challenge. And then there were my friends and colleagues, who made even the most stressful days enjoyable. We laughed, joked, and even managed to chill during the most intense moments.

The Big Challenge

One of the most memorable experiences during my internship was the live-streaming campaign. It felt like everything was going wrong at the last moment. Just a day before the event, we discovered a huge issue the camera feed wasn’t showing on OBS, our streaming software. The pressure was insane, and everyone was scrambling for a solution.

I rushed to New Road Market to find any equipment that might solve the problem, but nothing worked. Our IT expert, Shreeja Manandhar, tirelessly worked to troubleshoot the issue. After several failed attempts, something finally clicked the camera feed appeared on OBS!

That moment was pure magic. I remember the excitement bubbling inside me as I ran to Annusha Ma’am and said, “Come with me!” I brought her to the screen and showed her the live feed on OBS. Her reaction was priceless it was a mix of relief, excitement, and pride. We had finally done it, and the entire team’s hard work had paid off.

Moments That Mattered

This internship wasn’t just about challenges it was about the moments in between. The small things stand out like joking around during work, sharing stories, and even lightening up tense situations with laughter. After we successfully pulled off the live campaign, we celebrated as a team.

That evening, our managers treated us to dinner and ice cream at Mantra & Silk. Sitting there with everyone, I felt this overwhelming sense of happiness. It wasn’t just about the work or the achievements it was about the people. The bond we built during this time was something extraordinary.

What I’ve Learned

My internship at CGNET wasn’t just about technical skills or marketing knowledge it was a journey of personal growth. I learned to think on my feet, adapt to high-pressure situations, and understand the true power of teamwork.

I’m incredibly grateful to Anu KC, Annusha Maharjan, my friend  Reshav Tamrakar, our IT hero Shreeja Manandhar, and everyone else who supported me throughout this journey. They made me realize what it means to be part of a team that works hard, laughs harder, and celebrates together.

This internship wasn’t just a step in my career it was an unforgettable chapter in my life.
